The BIG REVEAL! Mike Super will reveal whether his prediction were CORRECT!
Friday, October 16, 2009 – 3:00 p.m.
Will he be right? The public and the press are invited on Friday, October 16th at 3 p.m. for the big reveal of the day’s headline predictions Mike Super sent a month earlier. The prediction has been locked in a Frederick News Post newspaper box on top of the Center’s Marquee since September 17th. Mike Super, performing at the Center that evening, has made a public wager with the community that he will be able to accurately predict the headlines that will appear in the headlines the day of his show (October 16th.) To prove it, Mike pre-recorded the predictions and sent them (a month early) to the Weinberg Center in a sealed FedEx envelope. On Friday, the 16th, Mike will be on hand when the Center lowers the box and plays the pre-recorded prediction of the day’s newspaper headlines. If Mike is wrong, he has made a promise to refund the price of each paid ticket that evening.
That afternoon, the Honorable W. Jeff Holtzinger, Mayor of the City of Frederick will be on hand to unlock the prediction and give it to Mike Super. Don’t miss out on this challenge – buy your tickets early and guarantee that you have a chance at a refund if Mike is incorrect. You must have purchased a ticket to the show and tickets must be purchased by October 15 in order to be eligible for a refund. Prices range from $20 - $30 and kids under the age of 16 are only $12. Tickets are on sale now at the Center box office, by phone at 301-600-2828, or online at www.weinbergcenter.org. Share this memorable theatrical experience with your family and friends. Who knows… you could end up seeing the show for FREE!
